As of August 2024 I will be running an online group supervision session for osteopaths. Any osteopath, in their last year of training to experienced practitioner in full time practice, is welcome. You do not have to have had any prior experience of supervision. There is no charge for these sessions. I will cap the number of people in the group to a maximum of 10, minimum of 3, so first come, first served!

How it works:

In each session I will encourage somebody to bring a challenging aspect of working life to the group. It could include:

• An issue relating to a client/patient for example a relationship, treatment management or a transference issue.

• Work place dilemma - location, team/colleagues, culture.

• Osteopathic Principles - Your relationship with osteopathy as a profession and its principles.

• Work related worries, concerns, frustrations.

In many situations you don’t actually have to give us all of the details of the situation. It is often enough for us to hear a few sentences about it for us to work with the energy of the issue. It is often surprising how much information/insight we can pick up and use.

We will then work through the issue as group using a combination of specific supervision practises but also tapping into the wisdom and experience of the group as a whole. You might want to make sure you have a pen/paper/tablet to hand to write any learnings down.

As the group supervisor I will hold and direct the space and make decisions.
